Motivation
I would just like to say, having a part-time retail job in college is my serious motivation to get through school. I'm sure other students understand the frequent ignorance that accompanies working a "minimum wage" type of job just for some extra money while in school, and I can't stress enough how excited I am to never have to work one again. Unfortunately that's not going to be for another year and a half or so. Sad day.

ReplyDeleteI hear ya on having the part-time job while being a full-time student. Since my freshman year, I have worked while being in school. This was quite rare for my other friends at Bradley, but as Sophomore and Junior year rolled around I started to notice more students looking for part-time jobs as they become broke. For me, I enjoy having my own money to spend on what I want and not begging my parents for extra spending money.

Yeah, Sarah. I feel you there! I have been working since I was 14. Not fun. But it definitely is nice to have some spending money to do whatever we want (within budget) without having to ask our parents.

ReplyDeleteI hear you about the part-time job while studying.. it must be tough.. I only did it once.. and it wasn't a very good experience either =/
